A collision led to Fc Nirvana getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sandu Flamaropol hit a great ball. Emilian Zăvoianu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Olteanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. If Daniel Hănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fc Nirvana's Robert Adomniței got a free kick in the 17th minute. Șerban Anghel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Maniu having to interfere. Robert Adomniței kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Ivan Fetanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vulcez CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Fetanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costin Iorda struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Robert Maniu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Nirvana.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Fetanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ivan Fetanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Ivan Fetanu made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Olteanu. Fc Nirvana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Vulcez CSM's Robert Maniu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Vulcez CSM from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Vulcez CSM's zone, Șerban Anghel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Maniu came out of the goal and Șerban Anghel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
