Ionică Coșeriu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iordache Romanescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Coșeriu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Panait Trişcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nistor Bacanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Romanescu having to interfere. When Dragoş Voiculescu fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciopirteni's protests and gave Dragoş Voiculescu a yellow card for diving instead. Dragoş Voiculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Panait Trişcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Muntian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Costandin kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Chinari CSS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Călin Dumitrachescu hit a great ball. Chinari CSS's Iordache Romanescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Chinari CSS from getting a goal against them. Nistor Bacanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Iordache Romanescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chinari CSS's goalkeeper Iordache Romanescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Ciopirteni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Voiculescu to maneuver through the defense. Ciopirteni's Iurie Muntian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Ispirescu in the 35th minute of play. When Nistor Bacanu came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ciopirteni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nistor Bacanu couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nistor Bacanu made a kick off. Iurie Muntian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Ispirescu in the 94th minute of the match. When Tiberiu Hurgoi fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chinari CSS's protests and gave Tiberiu Hurgoi a yellow card for diving instead. The Chinari CSS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
