Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. If Manole Urdăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Popovici during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Chisirid FCM got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Popovici. Liviu Moarcăș hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Lucian Covaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Urdăreanu in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Urdăreanu in the 44th minute of play forced Chisirid FCM's goalkeeper Lucian Covaci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marian Greavu to strike the kick off in the second half. Aristide Alucusan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Covaci having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chisirid FCM's Emilian Bucur got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Chisirid FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Urdăreanu came free, but Lucian Covaci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Manole Urdăreanu came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Draghiceni fans jumped to their feet. In the 69th match minute, Chisirid FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Popovici to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Draghiceni booed when Chisirid FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Bucur didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Manole Urdăreanu in the 76th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Lucian Covaci kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Manole Urdăreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Lucian Covaci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Grecescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Covaci having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manole Urdăreanu in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucian Covaci saved Chisirid FCM from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Liviu Moarcăș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Draghiceni booed when Chisirid FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Popovici didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Chisirid FCM's Lucian Covaci got control of the ball when Manole Urdăreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aristide Alucusan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th match minute, Draghiceni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Goiciu to maneuver through the defense. When Draghiceni's Manole Urdăreanu in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chisirid FCM's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Draghiceni could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chisirid FCM throughout the match.
