Edgar Cârstea struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Nicolae Mironescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vintilă Turbatu during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Crangu's Vintilă Turbatu got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rapid 1923's Paul Ghețea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Crangu. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nae Nițescu couldn't finish the play. Crangu's Manole Isaia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Crangu from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Remus Savu charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remus Savu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matei Movileanu took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolae Mironescu. Nicolae Mironescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 62nd minute Claudiu Mocanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Isaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Crangu's Matei Movileanu got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Claudiu Mocanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Traian Pelin kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Rapid 1923's Nicolae Mironescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Rapid 1923 from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Nae Nițescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapid 1923's supporters rose to their feet, but Nae Nițescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manole Isaia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matei Movileanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nicolae Mironescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxim Mincu during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maxim Mincu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Crangu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
