Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5654, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 100) Ionică Coșeriu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ionică Coșeriu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Adrian Olteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Valer Oproiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ciopirteni getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Romeo Costandin hit a great ball. Costin Iorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Șerban Anghel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nistor Bacanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Olteanu having to interfere. If Ionică Coșeriu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dumitru Stere during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adrian Olteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Coșeriu in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Dumitru Stere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nistor Bacanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. The supporters of Ciopirteni booed when Fc Nirvana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Adomniței didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Șerban Anghel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Nirvana's supporters rose to their feet, but Șerban Anghel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iurie Muntian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fc Nirvana's Adrian Olteanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Nirvana from getting a goal against them. Dragoş Voiculescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Adrian Olteanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 64 minutes into the game, Ionică Coșeriu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adrian Olteanu. Ionică Coșeriu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Ciopirteni's Iurie Muntian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Anghel in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Nistor Bacanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Olteanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Ionică Coșeriu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Olteanu was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Ionică Coșeriu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fc Nirvana's Adrian Olteanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Nirvana from getting a goal against them. Ionică Coșeriu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Olteanu having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Nirvana's goalkeeper Adrian Olteanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iurie Muntian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Anghel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionică Coșeriu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Ionică Coșeriu lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Adrian Olteanu. The Fc Nirvana fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ciopirteni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
