Lucian Covaci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 31st minute, Gelu Mareș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matei Movileanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 37 minutes in the game, Edgar Cârstea fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lucian Covaci having to interfere. Chisirid FCM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Cârstea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Crangu's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
