UTA Arad 1945's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Hănescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Daniel Hănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, UTA Arad 1945's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Fetanu came free, but Dragoş Ionițoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, UTA Arad 1945's goalkeeper Dragoş Ionițoiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Hănescu. Mihai Aristide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Pordea in the 18th minute of play forced Vulcez CSM's goalkeeper Robert Maniu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ivan Fetanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vulcez CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Fetanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragoş Ionițoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vulcez CSM! Daniel Hănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Adam Pordea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Maniu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavius Bostan kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Robert Maniu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Aristide, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Daniel Hănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragoş Ionițoiu having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Adam Pordea made the kick off in the second half. UTA Arad 1945's Mihai Aristide got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Hănescu struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Dragoş Ionițoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vulcez CSM. Mihai Aristide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Vulcez CSM defense, Mihai Aristide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Maniu. The Vulcez CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Maniu should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Flavius Bostan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Pordea in the 77th minute of play forced Vulcez CSM's goalkeeper Robert Maniu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihai Aristides short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Robert Maniu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to UTA Arad 1945 getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Eusebiu Blidaru hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes UTA Arad 1945 got a freekick which was hit by Toader Taşcău. Adam Pordea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Pordea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Maniu came out and tried to block the shot, but Adam Pordea slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 91st minute. UTA Arad 1945's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
