The audience was convinced that Manole Urdăreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dragoş Ionițoiu was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. UTA Arad 1945's Dragoş Ionițoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Urdăreanu in the 18th minute of play. After the first half Draghiceni were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manole Urdăreanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Aristide Alucusan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Hârțan kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Eduard Hârțan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manole Urdăreanu in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dragoş Ionițoiu saved UTA Arad 1945 from getting behind. Robert Grecescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dragoş Ionițoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragoş Ionițoiu made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Manole Urdăreanu sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manole Urdăreanu in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dragoş Ionițoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Mihai Aristide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Aristide Alucusan took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Dragoş Ionițoiu to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Manole Urdăreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dragoş Ionițoiu was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Manole Urdăreanu made a precise shot to the right of Dragoş Ionițoiu. UTA Arad 1945's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 92 played minutes UTA Arad 1945 got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Sichitiu. If Aristide Alucusan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Draghiceni played a much better game than UTA Arad 1945 and deserved their victory. The UTA Arad 1945 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
