Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Edgar Cârstea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Claudiu Brănet struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Manole Isaia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MINERUL. After 9 minutes, Gigi Panciu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC MINERUL and the Crangu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes FC MINERUL got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Panciu. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Claudiu Brănet took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Manole Isaia to make any attempt to save it. Manole Isaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Brănet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crangu's Manole Isaia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Crangu from getting a goal against them. When Crangu's Matei Movileanu in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC MINERUL's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Movileanu in the 26th minute of play forced FC MINERUL's goalkeeper Ciprian Gaiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Edgar Cârstea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute Edgar Cârstea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Gaiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manole Isaia came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC MINERUL's Claudiu Brănet. But to his dismay, Claudiu Brănet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Grigore Floreanu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Claudiu Brănet made the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes FC MINERUL got a freekick which was hit by Petru Țepeneag. If Claudiu Brănet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Edgar Cârstea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ciprian Gaiță managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Crangu's Matei Movileanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Cârstea in the 72nd minute of play forced FC MINERUL's goalkeeper Ciprian Gaiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Movileanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Alexandru Bărănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matei Movileanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ciprian Gaiță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iordache Mustăcilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Isaia having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Crangu's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Brănet came free, but Manole Isaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Claudiu Brănet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gigi Panciu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC MINERUL had won after a very even match.
