Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Lucian Covaci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Coșeriu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Ciopirteni's Nistor Bacanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucian Covaci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nistor Bacanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucian Covaci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Bacanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Chisirid FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Ionică Coșeriu came free, but Lucian Covaci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nistor Bacanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Nistor Bacanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciopirteni's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Bacanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucian Covaci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Chisirid FCM getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ionuț Stelea hit a great ball. Ionică Coșeriu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nistor Bacanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lucian Covaci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Popovici charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Popovici the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcel Popovici hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Ion Băbescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucian Covaci skillfully saved the ball. Chisirid FCM's Lucian Covaci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Coșeriu in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Ciopirteni were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marian Greavu made the kick off in the second half. If Nistor Bacanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gelu Mareș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Greavu in the 60th minute of play forced Ciopirteni's goalkeeper Iurie Muntian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Ciopirteni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Latarețu to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes, Chisirid FCM's Alex Cristian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iurie Muntian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chisirid FCM reached it. Nistor Bacanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nistor Bacanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Lucian Covaci made a huge save. Marian Greavu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Muntian having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Ciopirteni got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Costandin. After a defensive mix-up in Chisirid FCM's zone, Nistor Bacanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucian Covaci came out of the goal and Nistor Bacanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ionică Coșeriu struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Lucian Covaci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciopirteni. Lucian Covaci didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Ionică Coșeriu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucian Covaci. That made the score 0-3 in the 92 minute of play. The Chisirid FCM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ciopirteni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
