Emanuel Iancu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudiu Mocanu struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Emanuel Iancu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rapid 1923. FC YoUnG BoYs's Emanuel Iancu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Mincu in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Maxim Mincu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cornel Lucrețiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudiu Mocanu to make the kick off. Nicolae Mironescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Avramescu in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Rapid 1923's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Avramescu came free, but Nicolae Mironescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantin Miroiu charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantin Miroiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rapid 1923 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The referee gave FC YoUnG BoYs a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgar Vârnav, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rapid 1923's Nicolae Mironescu. 1-1. In the 87th minute, Cornel Lucrețiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nae Nițescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Nae Nițescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC YoUnG BoYs's Emanuel Iancu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugen Avramescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolae Mironescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
