Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Horia Codru got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Craidorolt UFC's Cosmin Manu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doru Sărăroiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horia Codru in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vintilă Porumboiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Octavian Cutieru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavril Casian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costin Milcoveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doru Sărăroiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Casian in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Casian in the 17th minute of play forced CS Targoviste's goalkeeper Doru Sărăroiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gavril Casian came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Craidorolt UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavril Casian couldn't finish the play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Craidorolt UFC's Gavril Casian in the 23rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Doru Sărăroiu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for CS Targoviste through an amazing save. In the 25th minute, Gavril Casian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Craidorolt UFC's Sorin Udrişte got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CS Targoviste's Teodor Aursulesei got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CS Targoviste's zone, Gavril Casian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doru Sărăroiu came out of the goal and Gavril Casian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Gavril Casian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Craidorolt UFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavril Casian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costin Milcoveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Octavian Cutieru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Porumboiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Cutieru struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Vintilă Porumboiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CS Targoviste.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavril Casian made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Cornel Iovanovici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Craidorolt UFC's Costin Milcoveanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doru Sărăroiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Doru Sărăroiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Milcoveanu in the 62nd minute of the match. Horia Codru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Craidorolt UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Milcoveanu to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes Craidorolt UFC got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Udrişte. 76 minutes into the match, Craidorolt UFC's goalkeeper Vintilă Porumboiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavian Cutieru. A collision led to Craidorolt UFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Iurie Puric hit a great ball. Horia Codru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Vintilă Porumboiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vintilă Porumboiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Codru, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Craidorolt UFC's Iurie Puric got a free kick in the 81st minute. Codrin Mazăre hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Octavian Cutieru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vintilă Porumboiu having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Costin Milcoveanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aron Răduț kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Horia Codru came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the CS Targoviste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horia Codru couldn't finish the play. Craidorolt UFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
