In the 10th minute of the match Bogdan Ignea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petrică Cioroianu skillfully saved the ball. Mihăiţă Achifoaiei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavian Gaiță in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petrică Cioroianu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihăiţă Achifoaiei got free with Valer Popoacă in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Petru Băsescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Sanovita's supporters rose to their feet, but Petru Băsescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petrică Cioroianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daniel Brănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valer Popoacă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Brănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. During the 33rd minute of the match Iacob Rada completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Iacob Rada a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of UFC Sanovita booed when NightHawks BTV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Rada didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Băsescu in the 37th minute of play forced NightHawks BTV's goalkeeper Petrică Cioroianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valer Popoacă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihăiţă Achifoaiei in the 39th minute. Mihăiţă Achifoaiei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes UFC Sanovita got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Ignea. UFC Sanovita's defense could not quite keep up when Maxim Frunză in the 45th minute got ready and shot a well placed long shot on target. It was only the outstanding action taken by the goalkeeper Valer Popoacă that stopped the ball from going in by the upper left corner. Mihăiţă Achifoaiei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Petru Băsescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Octavian Gaiță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Băsescu in the 64th minute of play forced NightHawks BTV's goalkeeper Petrică Cioroianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Ştefan Velicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valer Popoacă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihăiţă Achifoaiei's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valeriu Bologa during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of NightHawks BTV booed when UFC Sanovita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Bologa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Șerban Tăbăcaru charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Șerban Tăbăcaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, Mihăiţă Achifoaiei made a precise shot to the right of Valer Popoacă. UFC Sanovita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. NightHawks BTV's Petrică Cioroianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save NightHawks BTV from getting a goal against them. After having played for 84 minutes, Petru Băsescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC Sanovita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petru Băsescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octavian Gaiță succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 85th playminute. Petrică Cioroianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petru Băsescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valer Popoacă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Achifoaiei in the 93rd minute of the match. Mihăiţă Achifoaiei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Valer Popoacă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. UFC Sanovita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
