Calistrat Sterescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Remus, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Virgil Vulpescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Vâlcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calistrat Sterescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Vlăsiu in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Radu Ciompec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calistrat Sterescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Radu Ciompec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nitesti UFC's Florin Nae managed to work through Cilnicesti CS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Florin Nae dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 24 minutes into the match, Cilnicesti CS's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Filimon came free, but Mugur Vâlcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nitesti UFC's Florin Nae in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Calistrat Sterescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisc Remus in the 40th minute of the match. Cilnicesti CS's Mugur Vâlcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Filimon in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Martin Vlăsiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Francisc Remus made the kick off in the second half. Calistrat Sterescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Remus, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Anton Ciocâltea walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 73 minutes into the match, Nitesti UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Remus came free, but Calistrat Sterescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rareș Mihăileanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Calistrat Sterescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Aristide Filimon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Vâlcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Aristide Filimon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cilnicesti CS's Mugur Vâlcu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Cilnicesti CS's Radu Ciompec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calistrat Sterescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aristide Filimon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mugur Vâlcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugur Vâlcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Filimon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgil Vulpescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Vâlcu having to interfere. Nitesti UFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
