The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the NightHawks BTV defense, Francisc Remus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petrică Cioroianu. The NightHawks BTV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petrică Cioroianu should have stopped the shot. Francisc Remus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Francisc Remus made a precise shot to the right of Petrică Cioroianu. NightHawks BTV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After recieving a nice pass, Cilnicesti CS's Anton Ciocâltea tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisc Remus in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petrică Cioroianu saved NightHawks BTV from getting behind. If Francisc Remus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cilnicesti CS defense, Daniel Brănescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mugur Vâlcu. The Cilnicesti CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mugur Vâlcu should have stopped the shot. Petrică Cioroianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Remus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisc Remus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, NightHawks BTV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Cârstoiu to maneuver through the defense. Francisc Remus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Cioroianu having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, NightHawks BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Ciompec came free, but Petrică Cioroianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Brănescu was the one to do the kick off. Francisc Remus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Petrică Cioroianu made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Radu Ciompec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petrică Cioroianu. NightHawks BTV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radu Ciompec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 70thth minute of the game Francisc Remus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NightHawks BTV's Petrică Cioroianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes in the game, Francisc Remus fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Petrică Cioroianu having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, NightHawks BTV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Cârstoiu to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, NightHawks BTV's Petrică Cioroianu got control of the ball when Radu Ciompec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petrică Cioroianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radu Ciompec in the 78th minute. In the 78th minute, Vasile Cârstoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in NightHawks BTV's zone, Radu Ciompec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petrică Cioroianu came out of the goal and Radu Ciompec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes, Vasile Cârstoiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NightHawks BTV and the Cilnicesti CS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vasile Cârstoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Cilnicesti CS's Anton Ciocâltea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for NightHawks BTV. Cilnicesti CS's Radu Ciompec got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radu Ciompec got free with Petrică Cioroianu in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Cilnicesti CS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NightHawks BTV.
