Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Eric Mischie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Curteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. International ACL's Pavel Iuzbașa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Albu in the 20th minute of play. Eric Mischie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Curteanu in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Horia Curteanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The International ACL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Horia Curteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Vlad Ilieș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Young Boys Sibiu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vlad Ilieș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iordache Şelaru hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Albu in the 32nd minute of play forced International ACL's goalkeeper Pavel Iuzbașa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes International ACL got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Panțuru. International ACL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Lucrețiu Albu scored to the left of an out of position Pavel Iuzbașa, making the score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basarab Şoimu in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Mischie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucrețiu Albu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basarab Şoimu to make the kick off. Lucrețiu Albu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pavel Iuzbașa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Mischie made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Horia Curteanu sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Horia Curteanu made a precise shot to the right of Eric Mischie. Young Boys Sibiu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Pavel Iuzbașa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucrețiu Albu's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Şoimu in the 72nd minute of play forced Young Boys Sibiu's goalkeeper Eric Mischie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horia Curteanu got free with Eric Mischie in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. International ACL's Basarab Şoimu got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Iustin Tremurici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horia Curteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eric Mischie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vlad Ilieș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Gușatu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vlad Ilieș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pavel Iuzbașa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The International ACL supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing International ACL would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
