The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Los Angeles's Adrian Arsenescu got a free kick in the 14th minute. Fabian Bodnar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Călin Drăgoescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Raducanu Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Ciocoiu came free, but Aron Magheran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Raducanu Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Guy to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes, FC Los Angeles's Florin Chitoran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aron Magheran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Los Angeles reached it. Denis Ursulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Nechifor Mustea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Andre Guy managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Raducanu Cluj-Napoca! Aron Magheran had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ion Dordea's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ion Dordea did an outstanding performance 32 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Aron Magheran in the goal. Nechifor Mustea in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Călin Drăgoescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fabian Bodnar took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Drăgoescu. Călin Drăgoescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tudor Albulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aron Magheran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tudor Albulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Aron Magheran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Ciocoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Nechifor Mustea made the kick off in the second half. FC Los Angeles's Adrian Arsenescu got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Adrian Arsenescu off the ground. Călin Drăgoescu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Raducanu Cluj-Napoca's Nechifor Mustea shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Nechifor Mustea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Drăgoescu having to interfere. In the 58thth minute of the game Andre Guy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Los Angeles's Călin Drăgoescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 minutes, Andre Guy made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Los Angeles's Călin Drăgoescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Nechifor Mustea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Los Angeles's zone, Denis Ursulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Călin Drăgoescu came out of the goal and Denis Ursulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Nechifor Mustea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Drăgoescu was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Ilie Levința hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Sabin Balaban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Nechifor Mustea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Călin Drăgoescu. FC Los Angeles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nechifor Mustea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Nechifor Mustea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nechifor Mustea in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Călin Drăgoescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 played minutes FC Los Angeles got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Albulescu. If Denis Ursulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nechifor Mustea in the 96th minute of play forced FC Los Angeles's goalkeeper Călin Drăgoescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Raducanu Cluj-Napoca were the better team. Raducanu Cluj-Napoca's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
