Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Octav Condeescu made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, ViperX's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Codreanu came free, but Eusebiu Bălăiță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebiu Bălăiță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinand Codreanu's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. ViperX's Eusebiu Bălăiță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Codreanu in the 13th minute of play. Laurențiu Anisie hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Iosif Chioreanu made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Mihail Tudorache sent off a good shot on target. Toader Velicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciprian Ielciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eusebiu Bălăiță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Codreanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusebiu Bălăiță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdinand Codreanu ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, Ciprian Ielciu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ViperX's Eusebiu Bălăiță. Eusebiu Bălăiță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40thth minute of the game Ciprian Ielciu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ViperX's Eusebiu Bălăiță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute Ferdinand Codreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Bălăiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Ielciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eusebiu Bălăiță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciprian Ielciu struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Eusebiu Bălăiță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hidegvolgy CF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Codreanu in the 47th minute of play forced ViperX's goalkeeper Eusebiu Bălăiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ViperX getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sandu Neacșu hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinand Codreanu was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes ViperX's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristi Constantin who took care of the corner kick. Cristi Constantin made a great header on Hidegvolgy CF's corner, it was just that ViperX's Eusebiu Bălăiță managed to reach the ball for a save. Octav Condeescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Iosif Chioreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mihail Tudorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Codreanu in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusebiu Bălăiță saved ViperX from getting behind. Ciprian Ielciu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Ciprian Ielciu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Codreanu in the 79th minute of play forced ViperX's goalkeeper Eusebiu Bălăiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihail Tudorache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes, Sandu Neacșu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ViperX and the Hidegvolgy CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sandu Neacșu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The long shot by Cristi Constantin in the 91st minute really tested Eusebiu Bălăiță's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Octav Condeescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iosif Chioreanu came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by ViperX's Octav Condeescu. But to his dismay, Octav Condeescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
