Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Codrin Bărbulescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ioan Neacșu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Bărbulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codrin Bărbulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoresti FC's Adrian Stratulat got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iurie Gâdea scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marius Ghercioiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Gropnita AS's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Stratulat came free, but Marius Ghercioiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Gropnita AS got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Săvescu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Stratulat in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marius Ghercioiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denis Secară recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Codrin Bărbulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dacian Săvescu scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ioan Neacșu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Marius Ghercioiu was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Iurie Gâdea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iurie Gâdea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Ilie Bălace received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ioan Neacșu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Stratulat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marius Ghercioiu having to make a save. If Alexandru Codrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Săvescu in the 81st minute of play forced Teodoresti FC's goalkeeper Ioan Neacșu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxim Casian lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Dragoş Mihoc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihnea Fărcășan got free with Marius Ghercioiu in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dacian Săvescu took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ioan Neacșu. Ioan Neacșu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Marius Ghercioiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihnea Fărcășan in the 91st minute. If Denis Secară had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoresti FC's Ioan Neacșu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Bărbulescu in the 95th minute of play. Gropnita AS were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
