In the 6th minute, Lucian Ecobescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodor Cornoiu had great luck who in the 10thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rareș Berechet from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 14 minutes into the match, Rareș Berechet notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of A.S. Stefy Club's Teodor Cornoiu. Teodor Cornoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teodor Cornoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Berechet in the 18th minute of play. Rareș Berechet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Teodor Cornoiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ampoita's attack was well implemented in the 25th minute, but when Rareș Berechet was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Ampoita's Rareș Berechet in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.S. Stefy Club's goalie prevented a goal. If Cristi Lupșoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. Stefy Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ampoita the free kick. In the 41st match minute, A.S. Stefy Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Damian to maneuver through the defense. Rareș Berechet's late challenge caught a A.S. Stefy Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rareș Berechet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Ampoita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Berechet to maneuver through the defense. Panait Pască took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cătălin Damian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petrică Donose stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Rareș Berechet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.S. Stefy Club's Teodor Cornoiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rareș Berechet struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Teodor Cornoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampoita. Mircea Băcioiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Cornoiu having to interfere. Cătălin Damian was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Rareș Berechet put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Teodor Cornoiu. When Rareș Berechet came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ampoita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rareș Berechet couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ampoita booed when A.S. Stefy Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Găvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ampoita's Rareș Berechet got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodor Cornoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Berechet in the 75th minute of the match. Mircea Băcioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Teodor Cornoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rareș Berechet in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodor Cornoiu saved A.S. Stefy Club from getting behind. Rareș Berechet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelian Martinaș charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelian Martinaș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Lucaci in the 91st minute of play forced A.S. Stefy Club's goalkeeper Teodor Cornoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rareș Berechet, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Teodor Cornoiu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. There was no doubt that Ampoita were the better team. Ampoita's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
