Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ferdinand Codreanu started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Hidegvolgy CF got a freekick which was hit by Toader Velicu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinand Codreanu in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Logofeteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calistrat Cunea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iosif Chioreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Cunea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hidegvolgy CF's Moise Grigoroiu got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laurențiu Anisie charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laurențiu Anisie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hidegvolgy CF's Laurențiu Anisie got a free kick in the 24th minute. Costin Logofeteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Codreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ştefan Saşca was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hidegvolgy CF! Costin Logofeteanu came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Hidegvolgy CF's Laurențiu Anisie. But to his dismay, Laurențiu Anisie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Ciprian Ielciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristi Constantin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Aurel Zmărăndescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vargata's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurel Zmărăndescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iosif Chioreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurel Zmărăndescu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Aurel Zmărăndescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute, Toader Velicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iosif Stolniciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Costin Logofeteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Vargata's Iosif Chioreanu threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurel Zmărăndescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ciprian Ielciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vargata getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Vintilă Gâgea hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciprian Ielciu in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Logofeteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vintilă Gâgea hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Laurențiu Anisie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hidegvolgy CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurențiu Anisie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hidegvolgy CF's Iosif Chioreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Săvulescu in the 97th minute of play.
