The audience was convinced that Rareș Berechet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavel Aluchei was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristi Lupșoiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pavel Aluchei. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Berechet in the 32nd minute of play forced Marcusi FCM's goalkeeper Pavel Aluchei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Aluchei came out of the goal and Rareș Berechet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Rareș Berechet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marcusi FCM's Pavel Aluchei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cristi Lupșoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Aluchei having to interfere. After 53 minutes of play, Ampoita's Rareș Berechet made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pavel Aluchei was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Cristi Lupșoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ampoita's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristi Lupșoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Aluchei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gigel Grama kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ampoita's Rareș Berechet got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marcusi FCM's goalkeeper Pavel Aluchei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pavel Aluchei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rareș Berechet went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.
