Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sandu Hizo made the kick off and thus started the match. Octav Condeescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Doloman having to interfere. If Sandu Hizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ViperX's Sever Bercea got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Maxim Roşu fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Utd Galati's protests and gave Maxim Roşu a yellow card for diving instead. Maxim Roşu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Eusebiu Bălăiță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Iftimescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandu Hizo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Mihail Tudorache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Doloman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihail Tudorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sever Doloman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sandu Hizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Mihail Tudorache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Utd Galati's Sever Doloman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ViperX's Eusebiu Bălăiță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Pădure in the 34th minute of play. Iustin Aldulea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Bălăiță having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Andrei Iftimescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utd Galati's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrei Iftimescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Petrică Popa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Doloman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Iftimescu's late challenge caught a ViperX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Iftimescu helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octav Condeescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sandu Hizo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Eusebiu Bălăiță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cazimir Ogică kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Utd Galati's Sandu Hizo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basarab Pădure scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebiu Bălăiță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in ViperX's zone, Basarab Pădure stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebiu Bălăiță came out of the goal and Basarab Pădure tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rareș Alexiu struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Eusebiu Bălăiță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Utd Galati. After a defensive mix-up in ViperX's zone, Andrei Iftimescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebiu Bălăiță came out of the goal and Andrei Iftimescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihail Tudorache took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sever Doloman. Sever Doloman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 71stth minute of the game Sandu Hizo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ViperX's Eusebiu Bălăiță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Octav Condeescu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Andrei Iftimescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Eusebiu Bălăiță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sandu Hizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Utd Galati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodim Abraham to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Octav Condeescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sever Doloman. The goal made the score 2-2. In the 85th minute, Sandu Hizo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Hizo in the 87th minute of play forced ViperX's goalkeeper Eusebiu Bălăiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Utd Galati's Andrei Iftimescu got a free kick in the 94th minute. Utd Galati's Andrei Iftimescu got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Andrei Iftimescu off the ground. ViperX succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Utd Galati had controlled the match.
