In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S. Stefy Club's goalkeeper Teodor Cornoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Teodoresti FC's Alexandru Codrescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodor Cornoiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Silviu Niculiță scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodor Cornoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrian Stratulat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.S. Stefy Club's Teodor Cornoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Stratulat in the 26th minute of play. When Petrică Donose came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the A.S. Stefy Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petrică Donose couldn't finish the play. Adrian Stratulat succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 40th minute Alexandru Codrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Cornoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodor Cornoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandru Codrescu's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Alexandru Codrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petrică Donose to make the kick off. Alexandru Codrescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Teodor Cornoiu made a huge save. Teodor Cornoiu made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Alexandru Codrescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, Cătălin Damian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Teodoresti FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Iosif Grindeanu hit a great ball. Teodor Cornoiu came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Teodoresti FC's Alexandru Codrescu. But to his dismay, Alexandru Codrescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 75 played minutes Teodoresti FC got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Casian. Teodoresti FC's Mihnea Fărcășan was substituted for Alexandru Codrescu. The supporters of A.S. Stefy Club booed when Teodoresti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Casian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes Teodoresti FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Udrescu. Iurie Gâdea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Cornoiu having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, A.S. Stefy Club's goalkeeper Teodor Cornoiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihnea Fărcășan. Adrian Stratulat might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodor Cornoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Stratulat ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Teodoresti FC's Alex Udrescu got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Maxim Casian fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teodoresti FC's protests and gave Maxim Casian a yellow card for diving instead. Cătălin Damian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ioan Neacșu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The A.S. Stefy Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Teodoresti FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
