Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Teodor Cornoiu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A.S. Stefy Club's Teodor Cornoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save A.S. Stefy Club from getting a goal against them. Hidegvolgy CF's Ciprian Ielciu got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciprian Ielciu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Teodor Cornoiu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vintilă Găvan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cătălin Damian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Chioreanu having to interfere. Ferdinand Codreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodor Cornoiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Ciprian Ielciu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of A.S. Stefy Club's Teodor Cornoiu. Teodor Cornoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciprian Ielciu got free with Teodor Cornoiu in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodor Cornoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Codreanu in the 30th minute of play. Ivan Ţurlău was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, one of A.S. Stefy Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cristi Constantin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ciprian Ielciu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Hidegvolgy CF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ciprian Ielciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Eric Miclescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Stefy Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hidegvolgy CF the free kick. With an all-out effort, Hidegvolgy CF's Teodor Cornoiu threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ferdinand Codreanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cătălin Damian made a kick off. Ciprian Ielciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Teodor Cornoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Miclescu kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ferdinand Codreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinand Codreanu in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodor Cornoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciprian Ielciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, A.S. Stefy Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Codreanu came free, but Teodor Cornoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodor Cornoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Codreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Ferdinand Codreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ferdinand Codreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Teodor Cornoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Ferdinand Codreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Cornoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cătălin Damian struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Iosif Chioreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S. Stefy Club. Hidegvolgy CF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
