In a very dangerous position, a player in Hidegvolgy CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Ciprian Ielciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sever Doloman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurențiu Anisie took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sever Doloman. Sever Doloman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Utd Galati's goalkeeper Sever Doloman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Ferdinand Codreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sever Doloman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ciprian Ielciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Doloman having to interfere. Sever Doloman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinand Codreanu went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Laurențiu Anisie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Rareș Alexiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Utd Galati's supporters rose to their feet, but Rareș Alexiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iosif Chioreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Ferdinand Codreanu made the kick off in the second half. Basarab Pădure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Chioreanu having to interfere. If Ciprian Ielciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Utd Galati's Sever Doloman got control of the ball when Laurențiu Anisie tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Codreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Sever Doloman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th match minute, Utd Galati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Alexiu to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Codreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Doloman having to interfere. With a little luck, Utd Galati's Sever Doloman got control of the ball when Toader Velicu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Sandu Hizo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sever Doloman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciprian Ielciu in the 77th minute. With his leg Sever Doloman managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Hidegvolgy CF's Ciprian Ielciu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Laurențiu Anisie's late challenge caught a Utd Galati's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurențiu Anisie helped the player get up and apologised. Iosif Chioreanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustin Aldulea's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Sandu Hizo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iosif Chioreanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandu Hizo ran back to his position shaking his head. Utd Galati's Sever Doloman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Utd Galati from getting a goal against them. After having played for 99 minutes, Laurențiu Anisie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hidegvolgy CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurențiu Anisie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
