Daniel Pavelescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vajla CSM's Daniel Pavelescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Macavei in the 34th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, AIRE 2013's Irinel Macavei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Pavelescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Irinel Macavei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Pavelescu having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Irinel Macavei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 87th minute Dorel Udrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Pavelescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moise Tăcutu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iustin Văduvescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vajla CSM's goalkeeper Daniel Pavelescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Irinel Macavei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AIRE 2013 played a much better game than Vajla CSM and deserved their victory. The Vajla CSM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
