Nechifor Niculiță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Roman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Horea Geamănu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Galacticos's zone, Matei Roman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nechifor Niculiță came out of the goal and Matei Roman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Călin Lungu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Onitiu having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Galacticos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matei Roman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 93rd match minute, Plastin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Penaru to maneuver through the defense. Mihnea Gheorghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Plastin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
