Bacau FCM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toader Suşu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 17th minute Constantin Tănase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Corbuț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Cristi Timofte notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bacau FCM's Marian Corbuț. Marian Corbuț was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Toader Suşu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Corbuț having to interfere. Marian Corbuț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Timofte in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantin Tănase in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Corbuț prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Constantin Tănase sped through Bacau FCM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marian Corbuț. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Condeescu in the 34th minute of play forced Bacau FCM's goalkeeper Marian Corbuț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Corbuț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Tănase, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Timofte in the 39th minute of play forced Bacau FCM's goalkeeper Marian Corbuț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Bacau FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Suşu came free, but Marian Corbuț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marian Corbuț didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantin Tănase went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute David Bâlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Corbuț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Cristi Timofte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Marian Corbuț was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

After 53 played minutes Bacau FCM got a freekick which was hit by Remus Torouţ. The supporters of Sirna CS booed when Bacau FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Encea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Romeo Maruță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toader Suşu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Corbuț having to interfere. Marian Corbuț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantin Tănase in the 60th minute. A collision led to Bacau FCM getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Romeo Maruță hit a great ball. Marian Corbuț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Timofte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cristi Timofte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Corbuț was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Bacau FCM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Vintilă Condeescu scored to the left of an out of position Marian Corbuț, making the score, 0-7. After 74 played minutes, Sirna CS's Ionel Hurmuzescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marian Corbuț came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sirna CS reached it. A collision led to Bacau FCM getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Leonard Enoaia hit a great ball. Constantin Tănase's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Marian Corbuț skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marian Corbuț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Timofte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marian Corbuț made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Constantin Tănase sent off a good shot on target. After 86 played minutes Bacau FCM got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Caramarin. Cristi Timofte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Bacau FCM's goalkeeper Marian Corbuț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toader Suşu. 91 minutes into the match, Bacau FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Timofte came free, but Marian Corbuț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes, Cristi Timofte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sirna CS and the Bacau FCM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristi Timofte kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sirna CS defense, Alin Bușcu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sorin Siadbei. The Sirna CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sorin Siadbei should have stopped the shot. Augustin Caramarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sirna CS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
