Plesa SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacau FCM the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Plesa SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Antonescu to maneuver through the defense. If Aron Loga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bacau FCM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Aron Loga scored to the left of an out of position Marian Corbuț, making the score, 1-0. Augustin Caramarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bacau FCM getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Lucian Encea hit a great ball. When Albert Măgherușan fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plesa SC's protests and gave Albert Măgherușan a yellow card for diving instead. Albert Măgherușan hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Aurelian Enoaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Aron Loga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Corbuț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marian Corbuț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Loga, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Alin Bușcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Plesa SC's Nicolae Aldescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marian Corbuț but with some difficulty. Marian Corbuț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Loga in the 35th minute of play. Claudiu Durbacă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Remus Torouţ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Nicolae Aldescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Augustin Caramarin made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Leonard Enoaia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Plesa SC's Emanuel Hurgoi didn't even have to move. The supporters of Plesa SC booed when Bacau FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Maruță didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Loga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Marian Corbuț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Stelian Greblă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plesa SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelian Greblă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marian Corbuț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Loga in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Loga in the 70th minute of play forced Bacau FCM's goalkeeper Marian Corbuț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Plesa SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Romeo Maruță fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With an all-out effort, Bacau FCM's Emanuel Hurgoi threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iurie Arotăriței, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Iurie Arotăriței succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 76th playminute. 86 minutes into the match, Aron Loga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Corbuț. Bacau FCM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aron Loga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Bacau FCM's Marian Corbuț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Greblă in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Bacau FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Antonescu came free, but Marian Corbuț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudiu Durbacă kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Stelian Greblă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Corbuț was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 97 minutes into the match, Bacau FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Greblă came free, but Marian Corbuț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
