Rasti AS's Calistrat Trişcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Minteuan in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Băbescu in the 5th minute of play forced FC Banatim's goalkeeper Eduard Moldovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Banatim! Flavius Stroie shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Calistrat Trişcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorel Conta in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Flavius Stroie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rasti AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavius Stroie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduard Moldovan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduard Moldovan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugen Băbescu's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. If Horia Zâncă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Minteuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Calistrat Trişcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Banatim's Eduard Moldovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Stroie in the 28th minute of play. When Alexandru Agudin fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Banatim's protests and gave Alexandru Agudin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, FC Banatim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Agudin to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Rasti AS's Dacian Codrea in action when he in the 31st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Rasti AS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Denis Minteuan scored to the left of an out of position Calistrat Trişcu, making the score, 1-0. Dorel Conta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Calistrat Trişcu came out and tried to block the shot, but Dorel Conta slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 43rd minute. Denis Minteuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Calistrat Trişcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugen Băbescu to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Rasti AS defense, Dorel Conta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calistrat Trişcu. The Rasti AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calistrat Trişcu should have stopped the shot. Calistrat Trişcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Conta, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Petre Cocârlă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Eduard Moldovan made a huge save. Victor Acalinei kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Calistrat Trişcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Minteuan in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Rasti AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Firoiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Nistor Manciulea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Petre Cocârlă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rasti AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Banatim the free kick. Petre Cocârlă hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Nistor Manciulea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Banatim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nistor Manciulea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calistrat Trişcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Minteuan in the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Rasti AS booed when FC Banatim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Drâmbă didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Eugen Băbescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
