Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Manta took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Minteuan in the 6th minute of play forced Papa's goalkeeper Teodor Cozac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes of play, FC Banatim's Dorel Conta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodor Cozac was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FC Banatim booed when Papa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Butuc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Papa's Teodor Cozac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Minteuan in the 16th minute of play. Viorel Tăbăcaru charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viorel Tăbăcaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Papa getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Viorel Tăbăcaru hit a great ball. When Denis Minteuan came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FC Banatim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Minteuan couldn't finish the play. If Denis Minteuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Victor Acalinei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodor Cozac was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Dorel Conta struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Teodor Cozac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Banatim. Dorel Conta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodor Cozac read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Eduard Moldovan made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Daniel Tripon sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 39 minutes, Daniel Tripon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Tripon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Victor Acalinei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Banatim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papa the free kick. A collision led to FC Banatim getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Victor Acalinei hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Banatim's Ştefan Drâmbă got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half FC Banatim were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Minteuan to strike the kick off in the second half. David Manta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodor Cozac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Minteuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Tripon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Victor Acalinei was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. The supporters of Papa booed when FC Banatim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Acalinei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Minteuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Cozac having to interfere. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Dorel Conta sped through Papa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodor Cozac. 88 minutes into the match, FC Banatim's goal looked a bit too open when David Manta came free, but Eduard Moldovan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Dorel Conta managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Banatim's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorel Conta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodor Cozac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corneliu Târban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodor Cozac having to make a save. Papa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Dorel Conta scored to the left of an out of position Teodor Cozac, making the score, 0-4. A collision led to Papa getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Filip Butuc hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Dorel Conta managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Banatim's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorel Conta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodor Cozac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Papa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Banatim's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Banatim.
