Eugen Băbescu started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Manole Uzuneanu made a precise shot to the right of Calistrat Trişcu. Rasti AS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Rasti AS booed when ACSMU Poli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Chindriș didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Maiorescu in the 9th minute of play forced ACSMU Poli's goalkeeper Romeo Rucăreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, ACSMU Poli's goalkeeper Romeo Rucăreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugen Băbescu. If Eugen Băbescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horia Zâncă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Horia Zâncă struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Romeo Rucăreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rasti AS. Eliodor Foltea hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. ACSMU Poli's Ferdinand Stoleru quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonard Bălășoiu, made in the 29th minute of the game. Horia Zâncă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Rucăreanu having to interfere. After 45 played minutes ACSMU Poli got a freekick which was hit by Aron Chindriș.

Romeo Rucăreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Băbescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Codrea kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Sorin Ciolofan made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cazimir Madgearu immediately put the ball in play. In the 62nd minute, ACSMU Poli's Aurelian Ponor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Calistrat Trişcu. Calistrat Trişcu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Rasti AS's Calistrat Trişcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Ponor in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match, Aurelian Ponor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Calistrat Trişcu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manole Uzuneanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calistrat Trişcu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manole Uzuneanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Aurelian Ponor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Calistrat Trişcu came out and tried to block the shot, but Aurelian Ponor slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 71st minute. After 76 played minutes Rasti AS got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Trifan. When Aurelian Ponor in the 79th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Calistrat Trişcu kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Sorin Ciolofan's late challenge caught a ACSMU Poli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sorin Ciolofan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ACSMU Poli booed when Rasti AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Ciolofan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelian Ponor got free with Calistrat Trişcu in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 87 minutes, Eugen Băbescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rasti AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugen Băbescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calistrat Trişcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manole Uzuneanu in the 91st minute. Calistrat Trişcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Ponor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelian Ponor had several of the Rasti AS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Calistrat Trişcu as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Rasti AS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ACSMU Poli's performance. The match ended with a win for ACSMU Poli.
