Calistrat Trişcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Vrejiu in the 5th minute of the match. Calistrat Trişcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Vrejiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Green Eagles FC's Eric Ghețea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Băbescu in the 8th minute of play. The Rasti AS fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Rasti AS's Eugen Băbescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 20 minutes, Horia Zâncă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rasti AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Zâncă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Rasti AS's goalkeeper Calistrat Trişcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionică Mercea. Calistrat Trişcu made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Răzvan Magherescu sent off a good shot on target. Calistrat Trişcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Vrejiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viorel Cotoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viorel Cotoi's late challenge caught a Rasti AS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viorel Cotoi helped the player get up and apologised. Viorel Cotoi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Dacian Codrea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eric Ghețea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eugen Băbescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Ghețea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Băbescu in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Gigel Vrejiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Trişcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rasti AS's Calistrat Trişcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Vrejiu in the 43rd minute of play. Eugen Băbescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eric Ghețea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Eugen Băbescu in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eric Ghețea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Horia Zâncă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rasti AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Zâncă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Ghețea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Aron Firoiu in the 59th minute really tested Eric Ghețea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 62nd minute, Petre Cocârlă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Ghețea made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Flavius Stroie sent off a good shot on target. Ionică Mercea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Trişcu having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Gigel Vrejiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calistrat Trişcu. Rasti AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigel Vrejiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Flavius Stroie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Ghețea having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Viorel Cotoi made a precise shot to the right of Calistrat Trişcu. Rasti AS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Zâncă in the 87th minute of play forced Green Eagles FC's goalkeeper Eric Ghețea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horia Zâncă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute of the match Dacian Codrea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eric Ghețea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Ionică Mercea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Eagles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Green Eagles FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rasti AS for a fine match.
