Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicodim Sinulescu kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes, Eugen Iosub mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarighial and the -MZE- FC Bals players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihăiţă Papadima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Sinulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Măndica made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Mihai Honcioiu sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 7 minutes, Mihai Honcioiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarighial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihai Honcioiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basarab Cotois short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Cristian Măndica to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mihăiţă Papadima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Tudor in the 13th minute of play. Cristian Măndica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basarab Cotoi's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Nicodim Sinulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basarab Cotoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Măndica having to interfere. Vasile Platon charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasile Platon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes -MZE- FC Bals got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Platon. Mihai Honcioiu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Cristian Măndica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarighial. -MZE- FC Bals's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Basarab Cotoi scored to the left of an out of position Cristian Măndica, making the score, 1-0. Corneliu Cupșa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sarighial getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Corneliu Cupșa hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes, -MZE- FC Bals's Edgar Oblemenco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mihăiţă Papadima came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in -MZE- FC Bals reached it. Nicodim Sinulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihăiţă Papadima having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Sarighial's Basarab Cotoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristian Măndica. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sarighial's Mihai Honcioiu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Mihai Honcioiu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of -MZE- FC Bals's Cristian Măndica. Cristian Măndica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mihai Honcioiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Măndica having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicodim Sinulescu in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihăiţă Papadima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Basarab Cotoi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Basarab Cotoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basarab Cotoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sarighial's Basarab Cotoi in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -MZE- FC Bals's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Honcioiu in the 85th minute of play forced -MZE- FC Bals's goalkeeper Cristian Măndica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Eugen Iosub managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarighial's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Iosub was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Măndica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Iosub in the 96th minute of play forced -MZE- FC Bals's goalkeeper Cristian Măndica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarighial walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
