Martin Nisipeanu started the match with the kick off. FC Banatim's Eduard Moldovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Nisipeanu in the 3rd minute of play. Eduard Moldovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Micescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th match minute, Striharet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Nisipeanu to maneuver through the defense. Francisc Micescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Eduard Moldovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Martin Nisipeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Banatim's Eduard Moldovan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Francisc Micescu came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Striharet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisc Micescu couldn't finish the play. Eduard Moldovan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Micescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisc Micescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduard Moldovan having to make a save. In the 45th match minute, FC Banatim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Acalinei to maneuver through the defense. Francisc Micescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Moldovan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Nisipeanu in the 48th minute of play forced FC Banatim's goalkeeper Eduard Moldovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When Striharet's Martin Nisipeanu in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Banatim's goalie prevented a goal. Dorel Conta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Petrică having to interfere. Francisc Micescu had several of the FC Banatim's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Eduard Moldovan as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 73 played minutes FC Banatim got a freekick which was hit by Ion Archiudean. In the 80thth minute of the game Denis Minteuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Striharet's Ernest Petrică was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Nisipeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Eduard Moldovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Francisc Micescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Striharet's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisc Micescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduard Moldovan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, FC Banatim's goalkeeper Eduard Moldovan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisc Micescu. Eduard Moldovan made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Francisc Micescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Francisc Micescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Striharet could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Banatim throughout the match.
