Valea Calugareasca F.C.'s Iulian Cosor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Grozuță in the 23rd minute of play. Alfredo Di Stefano took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horaţiu Oravițan. Romeo Moldoveanu got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gheorghe Câmpeanu. Iulian Cosor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Grozuță, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Staicu in the 81st minute of play forced Valea Calugareasca F.C.'s goalkeeper Iulian Cosor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
