Irinel Corvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Bîndean, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Fc Juventus M-Voda's Ciprian Șeimeanu got control of the ball when Ion Păuceanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led L.P.S Buzau's Filip Mailat to fire away a dangerous shot which Ciprian Șeimeanu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Cornel Văcărescu lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Ciprian Șeimeanu. Filip Macavei, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to L.P.S Buzau getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nistor Hârțan hit a great ball. Ferdinand Zăreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Panait Nicolescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Șeimeanu having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandu Bîndean was the one to do the kick off. Ferdinand Zăreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Irinel Corvin made a huge save. The supporters of Fc Juventus M-Voda booed when L.P.S Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Văcărescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. L.P.S Buzau's Irinel Corvin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save L.P.S Buzau from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ion Păuceanu in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciprian Șeimeanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Sandu Bîndean took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Irinel Corvin to make any attempt to save it. In the 74thth minute of the game Ferdinand Zăreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but L.P.S Buzau's Irinel Corvin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferdinand Zăreanu took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irinel Corvin. Irinel Corvin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Nistor Hârțan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Gigi Iorgulescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Irinel Corvin. L.P.S Buzau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ion Păuceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Panait Nicolescu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Fc Juventus M-Voda's Ciprian Șeimeanu. Ciprian Șeimeanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
