But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gigel Acalinei couldn't finish the play. Ferdinand Tincu came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Juventus M-Voda's Ferdinand Zăreanu. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Zăreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ferdinand Zăreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vacarea AC's goalkeeper Ferdinand Tincu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Răzvan Brumă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciprian Șeimeanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Vacarea AC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gigel Acalinei hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Gigi Iorgulescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Tincu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Fc Juventus M-Voda booed when Vacarea AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Acalinei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigi Iorgulescu, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 45th match minute, Vacarea AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Poalelungi to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Tincu made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Ferdinand Zăreanu sent off a good shot on target.

After having played for 52 minutes, Avram Ştefănoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Juventus M-Voda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avram Ştefănoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute Emanuel Ianculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Tincu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Tincu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Bîndean, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Fc Juventus M-Voda's Sandu Bîndean sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinand Tincu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Avram Ştefănoiu fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Juventus M-Voda's protests and gave Avram Ştefănoiu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fc Juventus M-Voda getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ciprian Șeimeanu came out of the goal and Răzvan Brumă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Răzvan Brumă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciprian Șeimeanu. Răzvan Brumă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Costin Manciulea struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ciprian Șeimeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vacarea AC. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vacarea AC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
