Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) FC HOLT's Stelian Surugiu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Tantarul's zone, Octav Mocanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Romeo came out of the goal and Octav Mocanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stelian Surugiu in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Romeo saved Tantarul from getting behind. If Filip Valeca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horaţiu Petru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Chioreanu in the 11th minute of the match. Eliodor Chioreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Petru having to interfere. Vintilă Potoroacă hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Alexandru Cerchez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC HOLT's Horaţiu Petru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Valentin Romeo managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when FC HOLT's Filip Valeca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Eliodor Chioreanu fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tantarul's protests and gave Eliodor Chioreanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Eliodor Chioreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Tantarul's Valentin Romeo got control of the ball when Filip Valeca tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 38 minutes, Eusebiu Nenițescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tantarul and the FC HOLT players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eusebiu Nenițescu hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Tantarul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Tufescu to maneuver through the defense. Filip Valeca struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Valentin Romeo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC HOLT. Eusebiu Stamate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Romeo having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandru Cerchez to make the kick off. With a little luck, FC HOLT's Horaţiu Petru got control of the ball when Eliodor Chioreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th match minute, FC HOLT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Mocanu to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Eusebiu Nenițescu from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Horaţiu Petru's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tantarul's Eliodor Chioreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nae Mazilu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Valentin Romeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Stamate, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 74 minutes into the game, Dinu Tufescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tantarul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC HOLT the free kick. After 74 played minutes Tantarul got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Tufescu. After having played for 75 minutes, Stelian Surugiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC HOLT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelian Surugiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC HOLT booed when Tantarul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Tufescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC HOLT's Horaţiu Petru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Chioreanu in the 81st minute of play. Eliodor Chioreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Horaţiu Petru made a huge save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
