Alexandru Cerchez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Panait Nicolescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Ion Păuceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. L.P.S Buzau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ion Păuceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Tantarul's Eusebiu Nenițescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eusebiu Nenițescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tantarul protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eusebiu Nenițescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave L.P.S Buzau a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Filip Macavei, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tantarul's Valentin Romeo. 1-2. Dinu Tufescu charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinu Tufescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Dinu Tufescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliodor Chioreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irinel Corvin having to interfere. Dinu Tufescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Irinel Corvin having to make a save. Nistor Hârțan charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nistor Hârțan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nistor Hârțan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

Valentin Romeo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panait Nicolescu's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Panait Nicolescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Romeo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panait Nicolescu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute Panait Nicolescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Romeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Eliodor Chioreanu sped through L.P.S Buzau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Irinel Corvin. A collision led to L.P.S Buzau getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nistor Vaida hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Chioreanu in the 75th minute of play forced L.P.S Buzau's goalkeeper Irinel Corvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Tantarul's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Nicolescu came free, but Valentin Romeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nistor Vaida hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Tantarul's Petru Hațegan in action when he in the 87th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
