The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. R.S.C Berca's Marin Prunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Ciocâltea in the 3rd minute of play. In the 11th match minute, R.S.C Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Muscă to maneuver through the defense. Costin Chifu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Marin Prunaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind R.S.C Berca's goalkeeper Marin Prunaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, ELCID METAL CT's Petre Şoimaru got control of the ball when Aron Ipătescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costel Ciocâltea struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Marin Prunaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ELCID METAL CT. If Costel Ciocâltea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Chifu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Costel Ciocâltea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aron Ipătescu struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Petre Şoimaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.S.C Berca. ELCID METAL CT's Petre Şoimaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Gherghe in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to ELCID METAL CT getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ionuț Ionășescu hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costel Ciocâltea was the one to do the kick off. Petru Gherghe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Muscă hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Mihnea Strugure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Marin Prunaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Ipătescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petre Şoimaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aron Ipătescu ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, Petru Gherghe notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ELCID METAL CT's Petre Şoimaru. Petre Şoimaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costel Ciocâltea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marin Prunaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Aron Ipătescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Petre Şoimaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Gherghe in the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in R.S.C Berca's zone, Costel Ciocâltea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marin Prunaru came out of the goal and Costel Ciocâltea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. R.S.C Berca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Costel Ciocâltea scored to the left of an out of position Marin Prunaru, making the score, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Godeanu during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emil Godeanu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Costin Chifu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
