Petre Buzescu's late challenge caught a Fantani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petre Buzescu helped the player get up and apologised. If Grigore Stănciulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fantani were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
