Spectators: 6876 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Costel Ciocâltea started the match with the kick off. Costin Chifu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Narcis Aaxiniei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moise Fulga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Narcis Aaxiniei. Foisorul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Costin Chifu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Narcis Aaxiniei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Costel Ciocâltea struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Narcis Aaxiniei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ELCID METAL CT. A collision led to Foisorul getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mihail Grindeanu hit a great ball. With his leg Narcis Aaxiniei managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when ELCID METAL CT's Costin Chifu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Costel Ciocâltea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Narcis Aaxiniei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narcis Aaxiniei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Ciocâltea, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Moise Fulga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narcis Aaxiniei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Fabian Stan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foisorul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Stan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Traian Oroveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Şoimaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabian Stan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costel Ciocâltea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Narcis Aaxiniei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petre Şoimaru came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Foisorul's Fabian Stan. But to his dismay, Fabian Stan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the ELCID METAL CT defense, Fabian Stan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petre Şoimaru. The ELCID METAL CT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petre Şoimaru should have stopped the shot.

Narcis Aaxiniei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Ciocâltea in the 54th minute of play. Costel Ciocâltea struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Narcis Aaxiniei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ELCID METAL CT. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costin Chifu in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcis Aaxiniei saved Foisorul from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Fabian Stan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 68 played minutes ELCID METAL CT got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Gogu. Traian Oroveanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petre Şoimaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Narcis Aaxiniei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Chifu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costin Chifu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Narcis Aaxiniei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Borcea during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ELCID METAL CT getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Adrian Borcea hit a great ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Traian Oroveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foisorul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Traian Oroveanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stelian Ivașcu's late challenge caught a Foisorul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stelian Ivașcu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Foisorul booed when ELCID METAL CT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Ivașcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Foisorul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Stan to maneuver through the defense. If Costin Chifu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Foisorul supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Foisorul would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
