Costin Chifu's late challenge caught a Sumuleu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Chifu helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes ELCID METAL CT got a freekick which was hit by Costin Chifu. ELCID METAL CT's Petre Şoimaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Rebengiuc in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Mircea Gogu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Costin Chifu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half ELCID METAL CT were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Costel Ciocâltea made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Șerban Grecea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costin Chifu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Marin Hârșu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Eusebiu Rebengiuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Şoimaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute Costel Ciocâltea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Hârșu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, ELCID METAL CT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Chifu to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Sumuleu got a corner. ELCID METAL CT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pipis Paltakis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Petre Şoimaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Rebengiuc in the 89th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as ELCID METAL CT's Costel Ciocâltea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marin Hârșu. That made the score 3-3 after 92 minutes of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sumuleu players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
