Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cătălin Semeghin started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Rareș Mureșan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Homescu skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Urziceni CS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Andrei Fulga hit a great ball. Albert Apăvăloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Homescu having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Urziceni CS got a freekick which was hit by Avram Tudose. In the 19th minute Cătălin Semeghin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Alupoaie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AS Roma-nia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Remus Enășoiu hit a great ball. Victor Homescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Apăvăloaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vlad Stegaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Alupoaie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th play minute Vlad Stegaru came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcel Alupoaie. 1-0. In the 41st minute, Cătălin Semeghin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cătălin Semeghin in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Alupoaie saved AS Roma-nia from getting behind.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Bărboianu in the 53rd minute of play forced Urziceni CS's goalkeeper Victor Homescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Albert Apăvăloaie managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Roma-nia's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Apăvăloaie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Homescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 played minutes Costel Bărboianu rounded Urziceni CS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. With a little luck, Urziceni CS's Victor Homescu got control of the ball when Albert Apăvăloaie tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to AS Roma-nia getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gigel Dordea hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Vlad Stegaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel Alupoaie was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Victor Homescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Bărboianu in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Urziceni CS fans cheered their team off the field, for while AS Roma-nia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
