Spectators: 6715 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 0) Matei Caciulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horea Năsturel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matei Caciulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nae Ioviță in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horea Năsturel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nae Ioviță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nae Ioviță in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Năsturel saved Rimnicelu from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Matei Caciulescu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Horea Năsturel. A collision led to Cosbuc UFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Matei Caciulescu hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Rimnicelu's goal looked a bit too open when Nae Ioviță came free, but Horea Năsturel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nae Ioviță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Horea Năsturel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Matei Caciulescu came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Cosbuc UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matei Caciulescu couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Rimnicelu defense, Nae Ioviță kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horea Năsturel. The Rimnicelu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horea Năsturel should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Cornel Cojan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosbuc UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rimnicelu the free kick. In the 35th minute, Cornel Cojan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Matei Caciulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosbuc UFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matei Caciulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Matei Caciulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cosbuc UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matei Caciulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horea Năsturel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nae Ioviță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Nae Ioviță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rimnicelu's Horea Năsturel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th match minute, Rimnicelu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Dragușin to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Matei Caciulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Năsturel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Matei Dragușin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horea Năsturel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Ioviță in the 60th minute of the match. Robert Tofan's late challenge caught a Cosbuc UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Tofan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cosbuc UFC booed when Rimnicelu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Tofan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rimnicelu's Horea Năsturel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Ioviță in the 65th minute of play. With his leg Horea Năsturel managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Cosbuc UFC's Matei Caciulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Matei Caciulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Năsturel having to interfere. Alexandru Armeanca shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Matei Caciulescus short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Horea Năsturel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Cosbuc UFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Cornel Cojan hit a great ball. Nae Ioviță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matei Caciulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Năsturel having to interfere. Cosbuc UFC's Nae Ioviță got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nae Ioviță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Matei Caciulescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horea Năsturel. Matei Caciulescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nae Ioviță in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Năsturel saved Rimnicelu from getting behind. The Rimnicelu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cosbuc UFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
