Robert Tofan hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. If Petre Gorjanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Alupoaie in the 7th minute of play forced Rimnicelu's goalkeeper Horea Năsturel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petre Gorjanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Horea Năsturel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Alupoaie in the 11th minute of play forced Rimnicelu's goalkeeper Horea Năsturel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horea Năsturel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Alupoaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Horea Năsturel came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Stenea's Petre Gorjanu. But to his dismay, Petre Gorjanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Matei Dragușin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Horea Năsturel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionel Alupoaie's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. If Petre Gorjanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horea Năsturel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Alupoaie in the 31st minute of play. Horea Năsturel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Gorjanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petre Gorjanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Horea Năsturel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horea Năsturel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Alupoaie in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nistor Albulescu in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Năsturel saved Rimnicelu from getting behind. After 41 minutes of play, Stenea's Ionel Alupoaie made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horea Năsturel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Ionel Alupoaie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horea Năsturel was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Petre Gorjanu took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horea Năsturel. Horea Năsturel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Rimnicelu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stenea were winning 0-3.

In the 53rd minute, Matei Dragușin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ionel Alupoaie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Horea Năsturel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionel Alupoaie in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Năsturel saved Rimnicelu from getting behind. Horea Năsturel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Alupoaie in the 65th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Petre Gorjanu made a precise shot to the right of Horea Năsturel. Rimnicelu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Ionel Alupoaie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horea Năsturel was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Ionel Alupoaie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ionel Alupoaie really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Rimnicelu's Horea Năsturel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Rimnicelu from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Dudău was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Alupoaie in the 94th minute of play forced Rimnicelu's goalkeeper Horea Năsturel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Rimnicelu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stenea were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
