Horea Năsturel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CF Braila's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 41st minute of the game, when Vasile Gheorghiță after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Rimnicelu's goal. Vasile Gheorghiță was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Adam Romulus kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Rimnicelu's Matei Dragușin got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Apostolescu to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Vasile Gheorghiță notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rimnicelu's Horea Năsturel. Horea Năsturel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robert Tofan kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. There was no doubt that CF Braila were the better team. CF Braila's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
