To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Beligan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliodor Curuțiu. Horaţiu Beligan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. When Iustinian Gârleanu came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Garbovita UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustinian Gârleanu couldn't finish the play. Eliodor Curuțiu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Emil Acalinei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ion Moldovan in the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Horaţiu Beligan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Curuțiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugurel Zbereanu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Garbovita UFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
